Challenge:
One of the world’s largest kitchen and bath fitting companies contacted TyTek to develop a magnetic docking solution for their faucet that did not infringe on the competition’s docking system. They required a remedy to the loose faucet head issue that the industry suffered by using only a drop weight to dock and secure the faucet head.

Solution:
Without altering their unique and stylish design, TyTek produced a magnetic docking solution within the limited real estate restricted by the design. Starting with material selection through to magnetic modelling we created an optimal flux pattern, which formed the basis of our unique design.

Result:
As a result, their kitchen faucets utilize this innovative docking system to ensure smooth docking after every single use.
