NO NEED TO FAUCET
Challenge:
One of the world’s largest kitchen and bath fitting companies contacted TyTek to develop a magnetic docking solution for their faucet that did not infringe on the competition’s docking system. They required a remedy to the loose faucet head issue that the industry suffered by using only a drop weight to dock and secure the faucet head.
Solution:
Without altering their unique and stylish design, TyTek produced a magnetic docking solution within the limited real estate restricted by the design.
Starting with material selection through to magnetic modelling we created an optimal flux pattern, which formed the basis of our unique design.
Result:
As a result, their kitchen faucets utilize this innovative docking system to ensure smooth docking after every single use.

Challenge:
A healthcare supply chain management provider developed the first truly automated healthcare replenishment system, engineered to remove caregivers entirely from inventory processes associated with current technologies. They needed sensitive weight sensors, however, to detect even the slightest change in weight in the inventory bins for the system to function properly.
Solution:
Finely tuned, highly sensitive load cells. Load cells are weight-sensors that automatically identify supply usage as it occurs, communicating to Materials Management for timely replenishment. Demand shifts are easily recognized and responded to, reducing service interruptions and allowing healthcare workers to focus on patient care.
Result:
By measuring and managing product usage in near real time, TyTek’s load cell technology allowed supply decisions to be made proactively rather than reactively. Our finely tuned load cells give healthcare providers confidence to know that the right supplies will be in the right place, at the right time.
